ABOUT THE GROUP

Hickman Automotive Group is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated automotive business, established in 1905 by Albert E. Hickman. Comprised of several automotive franchises in Newfoundland And Labrador and Nova Scotia, Hickman Automotive Group employs approximately 500 people in thirteen locations. Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac operates out of St Johns, with Hickman Chevrolet Buick GMC dealers located in four additional locations: Carbonear, Burin, Clarenville, and Gander (Carbonear and Burin also operate a Bodyworks facility). Our Hickman Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM FIAT dealership can also be found in the capital city, along with our Hickman Truck Centre, the authorized dealer for Volvo and Mack, Heavy Duty and Isuzu Medium Duty Truck lines. Hickman Nissan is located in Clarenville and Gander and Hickman Honda, in Grand Falls-Windsor. We are also home to the Hickman Select Certified Pre-Owned, operating out of ten locations, and Hickman Autospa, our vehicle detailing center operating out of Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac, along with a Customer Care Centre. As an extension of our automotive brand, we also operate two Harley-Davidson® stores – Rugged Rock Harley-Davidson® (Mount Pearl, NL) and Privateers Harley-Davidson® (Halifax, NS).

Hickman Automotive Group is comprised of several vehicle franchises in Newfoundland And Labrador, including Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac, Hickman Chevrolet Buick GMC (four locations), Hickman Nissan Clarenville, Hickman Nissan Gander, Hickman Honda, the Hickman Select Certified Pre-Owned, Hickman Truck Centre, and Bodyworks Limited.

Together, we sell more vehicles than any other dealership in Newfoundland & Labrador, including Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC products at our five St Johns locations and our other retailers in Carbonear, Clarenville, Burin, and Gander.

Hickman Chrysler Dodge Jeep FIAT sells, leases and services Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, FIAT and Dodge RAM vehicles with 14 service bays and a top-stocked parts department while our Nissan Dealers in Clarenville & Gander sell, lease and service a full line of Nissan vehicles. Hickman Honda in Grand Fall-Windsor Newfoundland sell lease and service a complete line of Honda vehicles and have a large stock of Honda Parts as well. Our Truck Center is the authorized dealer for Volvo, Mack Heavy Duty, and Isuzu Medium Duty truck lines, and features a fully-stocked parts department and 8-bay service facility.

Hickman Select Certified Pre-Owned has ten locations across Newfoundland, including Kenmount Road and Torbay Road), Gander (two on Airport Boulevard), Clarenville (one on Memorial Drive and one on Shoal Harbour Drive), Carbonear (Columbus Drive), and Burin (Eagle Road) and Grand Falls-Windsor (Toulett Drive). We regularly stock over 300 quality used cars and used trucks of all makes and models. We’re committed to being the best supplier of pre-owned vehicles in Newfoundland in order to help you get you the car you want. BODYWORKS

Bodyworks facilities are full-service body, paint, and collision centers equipped with Mitchell Ultra-Mate and Image-Mate, ensuring accurate industry standards for collision estimating.

All estimates and ramp services are free of charge, and warranty on collision repairs are lifetime.

Bodyworks has the capability to paint non-automotive items on or off premises and offers the latest in water-born paint technology, providing an environmentally friendly option for conscientious consumers. Each of our GM stores in Carbonear & Burin operates a Bodyworks full-service outlet specializing in paint & collision repair with St Johns & Gander Locations being independently owned and operated.
