(2011) 16th Annual Hickman Classic Car Show
The organizers of this years car show, Bert, Jonathan and Derrick, have asked to send a sincere thank you to employees that were such an integral part of organizing and assisting in this year’s 16th annual classic car show at Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac & Hickman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT.
Each year Hickman Automotive Group car shows grow in popularity with its participants and spectators - and this year was no exception, even though it was held on Sunday. It was an exciting and fun-filled day for everyone! Good weather, great music, exciting automobiles, magnificent participation and a fantastic crowd!
The winners from the various prizes throughout the day:
Hickman Chevrolet Cadillac – 85 Kenmount Road:
- President’s Choice Award: Brian Murray (1969 Camaro)
- People’s Choice Award: Bob Murphy (1947 Chevy Fire truck)
- Hot Rod BBQ Grill: Ron Rose (1981 El Camino)
- Leather Jacket & hat: Devan Maher (1995 Jeep YJ)
- 50/50: Charlie Boddie (total monies collected for the 50/50 was $824.00 with 1/2 of that donated to Child Find)
Hickman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram – 20 Peet Street
President’s Choice Award: Randy Morgan (1970 Superbird)
People’s Choice Award: Levina Saunders (1936 Brothers Coupe)
Hot Rod BBQ Grill: Keith Piercey (1968 Charger)
The proceeds from the candy sales by Claire and Sarah Hickman, totaling $163, and the $412 received from the 50/50 draw, has been donated to ‘Child Find’.
In addition, the Community Food Sharing Association will receive $705.17 from monies collected at the show as well as many non-perishable food items.
